Not Just the Basics

The depths of all of our classes exceeds that of most other trainers. In EDI classes, for example, many consultants offer a one or two day EDI seminar that's about as vanilla as you can get -- like reading a Cliff Notes version of EDI 101 for dummies. When you finish you know how to spell EDI and X12 but you're not sure why. We believe there's more to training than just the "what". There's the "why", the "how", the "which", the "when", and the good, the bad, and the ugly. Our EDI 101 class for example, contains:

  • Basic concept of EDI and a short historyof EDI
  • Introduction to standards (focus on X12)
  • Business flow overview example
  • Communications Issues
  • Hardware Issues
  • Software Characteristics and Issues
  • Common Misconceptions
  • Business Needs Analysis
  • Working with trading partners
  • Security and Legal issues of EDI
  • Mapping concepts
